Would the Charles Parke given as the subject's father have been the Charles Parke at Dowlish near Ilminster, Somerset?94.193.114.179 (talk) 11:18, 21 December 2014 (UTC) An alternative Worcestershire Regiment online source suggests he might have been born at Henbury, Dorset, in 1822. Doesn't matter particularly if that is wrong, but if it is right, Henbury was also certainly later associated with the Parke family who appear to have rented it, later buying the estate. A branch of the Parke family were Jamaica planters for more than one generation, in the parish of St Ann.Delahays (talk) 13:43, 21 December 2014 (UTC)
